The client was a portfolio landlord that held his properties in a limited company.

The situation:

The client was looking to refinance a split level one-bedroom flat. However, as a result of the size of the property (31sqm) and the fact that it backed onto a takeaway (which had been closed for two years), the client had been struggling to find a lender that was comfortable. Adding to the complexities of the case, was the fact that the property had originally been a cash purchase.

Our Solution:

We were able to identify a specialist lender that was able to accommodate the client's circumstances and that didn't have any issues with the property valuation.
